Dance Styles

Ballroom and Latin Dance Association consists of two main types of dance: social latin and competitive ballroom. Social latin includes styles such as salsa, bachata, and merengue. Each quarter we host beginning and intermediate salsa lesson sequences.  Additionally, we often have lesson sequences and workshops in the other social latin dances.

For competitive ballroom, we provide classes and training according to International DanceSport standards, which are further divided into two styles: International and American.
